About the prequels

As of now, I’m working on three separate prequel stories, planning to release them chapter by chapter‌ before publishing the first book in the Anthara series. I think of these as my personal playground to freely discover my MMCs, their dynamics and their past before the main plot takes place.

Reading the prequels is not required to understand the series.

But they greatly deepen the understanding of my world, the lore and the characters. Reading them before the main series will give insight and familiarity that first-time readers don’t have.

Reading the series first allows for more mystery, the joy of putting puzzle pieces together on your own, while reading the prequels later can shed new light on the main events.

There is no correct order. The choice is yours.

About the prequels themselves:

There will be two entirely different tones and moods.

One will be only dread, psychological horror, pure whump, if you like. With crumbs of hope, resistance, and deep bonds to survive it all. These are the origin stories of my Breakaways, told separately from two POVs: Nash and Sol. Eventually ending in a HFN and hope for a new way of life.

If you decide to go down the rabbit hole, I recommend you start with the second type, which is a fun, light, action-and adventure-heavy mission featuring Trysten and Nash.

Here you can meet my boys in their prime. Free long enough to learn to function, to have their dynamics and routines settled, but far enough before the main plot to shake up their stability. This is a perfect starting point to meet the most charming versions of these two idiots.

I know many of you are here for smut. Me too…at least that’s how it started.

But it became so much more to me. And I only discovered all the psychological reasons behind it.

I can assure you, the main series will have plenty of smut. Some even consensual, joyful and meant to be hot.

But these prequels are not romance stories, dark or else.

The TDI-prequel will include elements sexual in nature, but most of them only implied and traumatic to the MCs. An exception of a more explicit CNC scene might come up later as a version of trauma rewriting. But no romance here in the conventional sense.

The action-adventure mission has sexual tension and dirty humor, but no fulfillment.

This is a fair warning, so you know what you're getting. Spoiling it all is not my intention, but I believe well-informed decisions are always better than disappointment. This was my OCD/anxiety speaking…hi Sol.
